Short, sensory experiments built for three and four year olds: colour mixing, fizzing reactions, magnets, floating and sinking. Every child has their own tray and does the experiment themselves, with a lab teacher guiding a small group. Parents can stay in the room.

How a class runs

Forty-five minutes, one tray, one experiment

Ten children at most, one lab teacher, and a tray each. Parents are welcome to stay in the room.

    Lab coats and goggles on, a quick look at today's question.

    Each child does it themselves at their own station, with the lab teacher guiding.

Questions

Do I need to book?
Members book their slot in the calendar so we can cap the class at ten. Walk-ins are welcome any day without booking, subject to space.
Can parents stay?
For Tinker Garden, yes, and we encourage it. From Tinker Tots up, parents wait in the lounge area just outside the lab, or in the mall.
What should my child wear?
Anything that can get a bit messy. Lab coats and goggles are provided.
What if we miss a week?
Members can book any other slot for their group that week, or the week after. Sessions don't expire until the membership does.
